Interpreting Your Competence

Are the tools for understanding your competence adequate?


Once you have completed your competency self-evaluations you will be offered tailored learning suggestions to develop these competencies. Resources will include CFA UK  and CFA Institute qualifications  (IMC, CFA Program) and CPD resources. CFA UK will also suggest vetted external learning.

Once you complete your self-evaluations the competency framework will allow you to compare your competence across two career paths e.g. research analysis and portfolio management (right). You will be offered tailored learning suggestions to bridge your competence gaps between the two career paths. The suggestions will be grouped under the competencies you need to improve on the most to bridge the gaps.

  • Hi Laura, these graphics represent the results of the self-evaluation the user completes. The intention here is to give the user feedback on where they are in their career in different formats which they can use in their personal development plan, in discussions with their manager, etc.
